Christophe Héry began in 1989 as in-house counsel with the "International Contracts" legal department of Alcatel Câbles (now Nexans). There, first in France and then abroad, he advised the Export departments negotiating contracts for the manufacture and marketing of electrical equipment. As from 1991, he worked chiefly on judicial and arbitral litigation cases as well as on distribution and IP contracts for a Parisian business law firm before joining Chaney, Connor, Lemétais & Associés (now Lmt Avocats) in 1994, where he was made a partner in 2000.

His main area of expertise is as legal advisor and trial lawyer for big French and foreign groups or the management teams of small- and medium-sized businesses and industries in distribution, competition, and IP / IT law matters. In fact, his work covers all aspects of the protection and exploitation of a business's intangible assets, from IP rights (trademarks, domain names, copyright, databases, etc.) to marketing organisation (pricing policy, marketing networks, e-commerce, promotional techniques, etc.). Furthermore, Christophe Héry specializes in international contract law and in international judicial and arbitral litigation law and was awarded a specialization certificate in international relations law by the Paris Bar Association.
