Jean-Yves Foucard, who trained in management and in business law, began his career in 1974 as an auditor with chartered accountants Peat Marwick Mitchell.
Admitted to the Paris Bar in 1977, he joined the law firm Lafarge, Flécheux, Demoyen, Ghestin as an associate.
In 1983 he co-founded Demoyen et Associés, which he left in 2004 to join Lmt Avocats.
After honing his skills in most areas of business law, thereby acquiring the ability to have a global understanding of even the most complex legal cases, Jean-Yves Foucard focused on mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy law, contracts (especially distribution contracts), and sports law.
Very early on, his management training at the HEC business school in Paris, his accountantship experience, his practical knowledge of most areas of business law, and his specializations led him to be hired as legal advisor and trial lawyer by both big multinational groups and major small and medium sized businesses.
